Parent Network
The PARENT NETWORK (PN) of ISR is an informal voluntary organisation open to all parents with children at the school.
THIS IS OUR CHARTER:
- PN is the “Bridge” between parents at the management of the school.
- PN aims to build a strong community among ISR families.
- PN identifies issues that affect our children & community, informs the school and follows up on solutions.
- PN is not responsible for the academic program of ISR.
- PN encourages our community to pool its resources for the benefit of all.
- PN strives to spread an optimistic and constructive spirit in our school.
Financially, we are a mostly self-funded organisation (not an “eingetragener Verein” as defined by German tax law), with some financial support from the SABIS® corporation. We spend all our proceeds for the benefit of the school, and donate nothing to charity.

EVENTS AND PROJECTS:
Examples of our work include publication of the PN Weekly Updates posted on WebSchool, bake sales, co-organisation of International Day and Family Fun Day, concerts, open door meetings, and Staff Appreciation Day, cooperation with the Internationaler Dialog Rhein-Kreis Neuss e.V., and organisation of the annual PN Party.
REGULAR MEETINGS:
PN usually meets monthly during the school year. All parents are always welcome to attend. Class representatives are elected at the first open meeting of the academic year. The PN Board is elected at the last open meeting of the year.
These and all other meetings are announced in the Weekly Updates on WebSchool and posted on the PN bulletin board at school.
